Village Defense – Terms of Service
By downloading, accessing or using Village Defense, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the game.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed when you use Village Defense.
1. Licence
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Village Defense for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the game except where applicable law expressly permits such activity despite this restriction.
2. Age
Village Defense is not directed at children under 13.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you should use the game with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian before making in-app purchases where required by applicable law or store rules.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account.
- Usernames may not contain abusive language, hate speech, impersonation, unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others.
- We may change or remove an inappropriate username or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect the game, its users or our services.
- You may permanently delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
- If you cannot access the app, you can start a verified deletion request through our Account & Data Deletion page.
4. Diamonds and in-game items
Diamonds and tower upgrades are virtual game items that can be used only within Village Defense.
- Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be cashed out or redeemed for money.
- Virtual items cannot be transferred to another account or sold outside the game unless Village Defense expressly provides such functionality.
- Purchasing diamonds grants a limited right to use those virtual items within the game. It does not transfer ownership of the game or any intellectual property.
- If you permanently delete your account, remaining diamonds and upgrades associated with that account are deleted and are not restored to a new account, except where applicable law or store rules require otherwise.
- If cheating, automation, payment abuse, duplicate reward exploitation or other rule violations are detected, improperly obtained diamonds or rewards may be revoked and the account may be restricted, suspended or terminated.
- If Village Defense is permanently discontinued, virtual items may cease to be available, subject to applicable consumer law and platform requirements.
5. Purchases and refunds
Diamond packs are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payments are processed by the relevant store. Village Defense does not receive your payment card or bank account details.
Purchase verification may require processing a store transaction identifier or purchase token in order to confirm the purchase, credit diamonds and prevent duplicate credits or fraud.
Refund requests must generally be submitted to the store through which the purchase was made and are subject to the applicable store's policies and applicable law.
If a purchase is refunded, reversed, charged back or otherwise invalidated, diamonds or other benefits credited from that purchase may be removed from the account where permitted by applicable law.
6. Advertising
An optional rewarded ad may be offered at the end of a run to earn additional diamonds. Watching an advertisement is entirely optional and is never required to play or progress in Village Defense.
Advertising is provided by Google AdMob. Advertising-related data processing, consent and privacy choices are described in our Privacy Policy.
Village Defense does not control every advertisement selected or delivered by an advertising provider and does not endorse third-party products or services merely because they appear in an advertisement.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not misuse Village Defense or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- using cheats, bots, automation, modified clients or unauthorized tools to manipulate gameplay, rewards, servers or leaderboards
- exploiting bugs or systems to obtain unauthorized rewards, diamonds or competitive advantages
- submitting false, manipulated or fraudulent gameplay or purchase data
- attempting to bypass security, authentication, purchase verification, advertising verification or anti-cheat systems
- intentionally overloading, disrupting or damaging the service
- accessing or attempting to access another user's account without authorization
Where reasonably necessary, violations may result in removal of scores, reversal of improperly obtained rewards, account restrictions, suspension or termination.
8. Availability and updates
Village Defense is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the game will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available. Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, security, technical failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update the game, change gameplay systems, rebalance features or discontinue features where reasonably necessary to operate and improve Village Defense.
If Village Defense is permanently discontinued, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice through the game or store listing where practical.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use Village Defense.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for claims arising from Village Defense will not exceed the amount you paid for Village Defense or in-app purchases during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires a different amount or does not permit such a limitation.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to Village Defense, its services, platform requirements or applicable law.
The current terms and their effective date are published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the game or its store listing where appropriate.
Continued use of Village Defense after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections or other rights that apply under the laws of your country of residence.
Any dispute relating to these terms or Village Defense will be handled by a court or other authority with jurisdiction under applicable law.
